The School Psychology Team provides and supports student-focused indirect intervention, student-focused direct intervention, school-wide intervention, board/system-wide intervention, and research.
The School Psychology Team supports evidence-based decision making, identifying a problem by quantifying it so appropriate plans can be put in place; and progress monitoring becomes a part of the solution.
Psychologists have training in, and access to, restricted assessment materials to formulate a student’s profile of strengths and needs and to design effective, evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring strategies to support social-emotional, behavioural and academic functioning.
