Tracy Beaulieu
Director of the Public Schools Branch

Tracy assumed the position of Director at the Public Schools Branch in December of 2023. With a career in education spanning over 25 years, she values the learning opportunities she has experienced in her positions as a classroom teacher, administrator, and Administrator Support Leader. Her deep-seated love for children and a genuine passion for learning continues to be the driving force behind her contributions to the field of education. 
 
Tracy’s dedication to fostering a climate that encourages both the pursuit of knowledge and character development has remained steadfast in her commitment to students and staff. She believes in the power of a team and is grateful for all the amazing individuals who have devoted their lives to being part of this education system. When educators and families work together the students learn best. When we help one another, everybody wins. 
 
Family is incredibly important to Tracy. When she is not working, her favourite thing to do is to spend time with her husband, three children, and friends. This could be at a rink, ballfield, on the rugby pitch, in a musical theatre, or hosting in her home. She is grateful to have a wonderful support system at home and in the workplace and looks forward to continuing this educational journey with you.

Dominique Lecours
Acting Assistant Director

Dominique's career in education has now spanned over 35 years in roles such as teacher, department head, vice-principal and principal, all at the grade 7-12 levels.
 
Students have always been at the centre of her work and she is a staunch supporter of public education in PEI. After her most recent role as PSB Director of Student Services, her student-centred approach is even stronger, as well as the need to work with parents and guardians to ensure that our students reach their full potential and are prepared to build their future. She strongly believes that education is the great equalizer in our society and is critical to the future of our province and its citizens.
 
After having moved to PEI in 1987, she is glad to call the Island home, and would not live anywhere else. In her spare time, Dominique loves home renovations, camping, and time spent outdoors.

Jonathan Mosher
Director of Human Resources

Jonathan Mosher, a CPHR with over 15 years of experience in various aspects of Human Resources, specializing in HR projects, labour relations and strategic planning, is the Director of Human Resources for the Public Schools Branch based out of our Stratford office location.
 
Having worked in both the Public and Private sectors in the Automotive, Agriculture, Health Care, Non-Profit and now Education industries, Jonathan holds true to his belief that employees are an organization’s greatest asset and leads with openness, honesty and transparency with a focus on providing mentorship and coaching to help his team grow personally and professionally.
 
Through his experiences, he has acquired many transferable skills in the areas of employee relations, labour relations, employee engagement, policy development and interpretation, training and development, and recruitment and retention.
 
A strong community supporter, having volunteered on the Board of Directors of CPHR PEI as the Chair of the certification committee, as well as with Sherwood Parkdale Minor Hockey, Sherwood Parkdale Soccer Club and the Gold Cup Parade committee.
 
Jonathan was previously the Director of Human Resources for Health PEI, the Director of Human Resources at Immigrant & Refugee Services Association of PEI and prior to that, the Director of Human Resources with Murphy Healthcare.
 
Born and raised in Charlottetown, he currently resides in the neighbourhood of Sherwood with his spouse Jillian and boys, Jack and Connor.

Blake Crockett
Director of Finance

Nathan MacLeod
Director of Property Management

With over 17 years of experience in the construction industry, including roles as an onsite labourer, carpenter, project manager, and owner’s representative, Nathan brings a wealth of expertise to the Public Schools Branch. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Nathan began their career with a local construction company as a Project Manager before joining the PSB as Property Services Supervisor (East) in 2018. In this role, they oversaw facilities for 36 schools across the Eastern end of the Island.
 
Nathan also held the position of Manager of Capital Projects at UPEI, where they led significant construction efforts, including the New Residence building, the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation, and the new Faculty of Medicine building. Returning to the PSB as Director of Property Services in January 2024, Nathan now oversees all facilities management and capital projects for the PSB.
 
A dedicated community member, Nathan was born and raised in Orwell, building their forever home in 2020. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his three children and can often be found at the rink or ball field.

Sandra Jay
Acting Director of Student Services

Sandra has 38 years of professional experience in education at the Department of Education, School Boards, and in schools. Her teaching experience spans the elementary, intermediate and high school levels. She has had the opportunity to serve in a range of leadership roles including Special Education Consultant, Manager of Student Services, Special Education Coordinator and a proud school administrator for 17 years.

Dave Gillis
Director of Transportation and Risk Management

Dave Gillis is the Director of Transportation and Risk Management with the Public Schools Branch. A product of the PEI public school system, Dave has worked with the Western School Board, English Language School Board and Public Schools Branch since 1998. Having earned his MBA in 2004, Dave has dedicated his working career to the betterment of the public school system in Prince Edward Island.
 
Dave is married with two children who are products of the PSB school system. With his family “living the PSB experience”, Dave believes strongly that our daily efforts are worth it by providing future opportunity for students, opening doors that only quality education can. “The children are our future…  Teach them well and let them lead the way…”
