The Public School Branch has undertaken a province-wide effort to continue to strengthen safety across all of its schools. It has developed updates to policies and practices, along with prevention strategies to better address the evolving needs of its students, staff and families.
Included in this work has been the introduction of a Sexual Misconduct Policy. The new policy will help provide clearer expectations, training on early identification, and consistent response procedures.
It is important to the Public School Branch to engage with its families. With this in mind, we have created a short questionnaire to give the opportunity for our school communities and the general public the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft policy.
The questionnaire will be available until February 6, 2026, at the link below. All responses will be anonymous, with no identifying data collected.
The well-being of our students is our top priority; an ongoing commitment made to Public School Branch families.
